An experimental catalog of images conceived and conceptualized by myself & Anisha Sisodia.

Multiple sets in 3 days! I was tasked with leading the Art Department with creating intimate, familial - like environments for Buchanan’s Whiskey photo/video shoot. We had 10x12 walls built, painted, and re-painted to help create various “living room” vibes, as well as a healthy rotation of wood floors and several carpets. Not to mention our ever flowing supply of soft goods and other props to help create the story.
These images were created in April 2020 during our first taste of “quarantine,” for the good folks over at Budweiser. Shot by Anisha Sisodia in her studio, this shoot was completely virtual, conducted over Facetime. After selecting props, I guided Anisha with which prop to place where.
I had an unique opportunity to help create 6 different rooms to showcase new color ways of the Apple iMacs. Working within specific color schemes for each piece, I was tasked to bring in props to elevate and personalize each room- almost as if creating a story line to match each iMac. Guests were invited into the space were they were given a chance to pick from a table of props in each room to create their own individual scene, all while familiarizing themselves with the new technology. These images of the rooms were captured before the guests arrived. 💕
In the first half of 2018 I spent it creating the most amazing “food bible” with some of the most genuine and talented people I’ve ever met. This book, a real piece of art, was created by a team I now consider family.
Son Of A Southern Chef: Cook With Soul - a wildly inventive soul food bible from a two-time Chopped winner and the host of Snapchat's first-ever cooking show, Lazarus Lynch.
I was the prop stylist working along side the brilliant food stylist, Graciel Caces.

For this project, I was tasked to create a ‘sunglow yellow’ monochrome “room” to serve as the celebrity @gettyimages photo opp backdrop at @essencefest 2018. in New Orleans. Photo by Karston Tannis.
Experimental work created with and shot by Anisha Sisodia highlighting the idea of "touch."
I was given the awesome chance to prop style an interactive “Crown Walk” set in honor of @BET’s Black Girls Rock 2018 award show. The theme was Black Royalty.

The idea was to create a fun, colorful, whimsical playground for a sample children's lookbook. During the process it was important to highlight that little girls are capable of doing anything they set their minds to. Here is Little Miss Nadia as the Gardener, the Artist, the Designer, and the Scientist.

In 2019 photographer/director Anisha Sisodia & I experimented with different concepts and art direction ideas on a few shoots. Here we are playing with random props, structured food, smoke, and the beauty of the female body with friend and fellow creator Mominatu Boog.
All photos taken by Anisha.
Food styling goodies from Baker, Imagine Brooklyn. All photos here taken by me.
As part of their monthly Artist In Residence program, I was invited by W Union Square Hotel in New York to team up with Nars makeup in support of their "What She Said" initiative. This initiative promotes and celebrates strong, innovative women.
The theme here was endless beauty. I created a vintage boudoir that lived in the window of the lobby of the hotel, as well as three dimensional "exploding" flat lays full of "flying" Nars makeup. All photos taken by Karston "Skinny" Tannis.
Journ, a skincare line and the first ever range of color correctors made to improve skin issues over time, not just to conceal. Female owned, Journ Beauty products are made with love and purpose.

2 Self Help Books Away From Being Perfect is a screwball comedy about a bright-eyed Brooklynite who naively uses self help principles to find love.
I had the honor of art directing this award winning 3 part web series for one of the most talented couples I know, Writer / Lead Actress / Producer, Kimberly Young & Director / Producer, Lopez Williams. This work of art was truly a labor of love shot over two weekends in NYC, November 2014.
